When we decided to put our Newport Beach house up for sale, we contacted Art Rivera of Berkshire Hathaway. Why? Because about 15 years ago he acted as our realtor to sell a house in Irvine. He knew the market, and we received top dollar for our particular neighborhood. In preparing our Newport Beach house for sale, Art had all the contacts needed to get the job done quickly, and at reasonable prices. While we were working on the Newport Beach property, we decided to also put a Nellie Gail Ranch property on the market. Once again, Art gave us excellent advice as to what we needed to do to present that home in its most favorable condition. Now we had two homes, in different markets, ready for sale. Art held some "pre-" showings, which immediately resulted in interest by realtors and their clients. Both properties sold within days of coming formally on the market, and we closed escrow on both of them within just days of each other.
